In the Backyard, we offer 10,000 square feet of indoor play space, where the weather is always perfect and the “gate” is always open! Kids will have a blast burning energy while you can enjoy a relaxing coffee. We keep it fresh with an ever-rotating set up of fun interactive inflatables.

More AboutBirthday PartiesWe love to host your birthday party! All of our hosted birthday parties include 90 minutes of party time in an exclusive room with a party host. The party host will take care of you from the moment you park at The Backyard until the party is done, including decorating and serving guests. Price includes 8 admissions, popcorn, juice, Backyard Grippy Socks and party gifts. You can bring in your own special cake! QuestionsLook Here.Is outside food allowed?Outside food or drink is not allowed except in certain situations. For birthdays that are booked in with us we allow the party to bring in their own cake. For private event rentals, food or drink may be allowed. We have a menu designed by a local dietitian to provide great, healthy and fun choices while you visit The Backyard. How baby & toddler friendly is The Backyard?Very! We have designed The Backyard to be a safe and fun place for the whole family, including the little ones. Some of these features include: a safety gate to ensure kids are kept safe and secure inside the facility with their caregiver, specially designed toilet seats, low access water fountain and stools where needed. We also have change stations in all the washrooms and nursing stations in both unisex washrooms. We are a nursing-friendly environment, but if you prefer added privacy you will have a location that is comfortable as well. What safety and security measures are in place?We inspect and clean the equipment daily to ensure that it is in good condition and germ free. How do you keep the facility clean?We have a cleaning routine that makes sure everything is kept safe, sanitary and like brand new. We clean all the play equipment on a daily basis using non-toxic, child safe products and are always on the lookout for anything we can be tidying or cleaning up throughout the day. We also have regularly scheduled deep cleans where we have the professionals, our friends from Emrose Cleaning, come in and do an extra deep clean to hit anything we may have missed. Do I have to sign a waiver?Yes, all guests of The Backyard have to sign a waiver. It takes a couple minutes to fill out the first time so we recommend doing it ahead of time if you can. Once the waiver is completed it will only need to be updated once a year, so your subsequent visits will be much quicker. With designated parking spots, power entry doors, accessible washrooms, water fountains and seating, we are happy to welcome people of all abilities to The Backyard. If there is any way we can accomodate you or a loved one to make your stay more fun or comfortable, please let us know and we would be happy to do so! How much on-site parking is available?We have nearly 50 parking spots on-site and plenty of on-street parking available, which means that finding a place to park at The Backyard should never be a problem. How are The Backyard team members trained?All members of The Backyard family are trained and certified in safe food handling, completed training based on the babysitters course set out by the Saskatchewan Safety Council and have a clean criminal record to work with vulnerable sectors. Select members of the team are also First Aid certified. We’re having an event. Does The Backyard support community events?We are proud to be involved with our community. We are partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Saskatoon, The Ronald McDonald House, The Saskatoon Foodbank and Learning Centre, Recess Guardians, and 1% for the Planet.
